Booklets

What can a booklet bring together?

An advisor selects available places, activities and events, reuses playlists and adds documents and advice useful to the stay. A map, contact details and links to directions are available when the required information exists. The booklet can carry your tourism office’s identity.

Do visitors need to install an app?

Visitors open the booklet in a mobile browser using its link or QR code. No mandatory application is needed. During training, check the journey with the devices and browsers your team uses.

Which sharing channels are available?

Links and QR codes provide access to the booklet. Email and SMS delivery services are configured automatically. Choose the channel with the visitor and request only the contact details needed for delivery. SMS is billed separately according to usage and destination country.

What do the product’s 123 languages mean?

Roadpress has a registry of 123 languages. Languages available for translation depend on the configured services. Processing can take time and results need review, particularly for important instructions. This presentation website has two languages: French and English. Systematic equivalence to human translation is not promised.

What can visitors read without a connection?

The first connected opening and local preparation are necessary. On a compatible device, offline access is then limited to resources actually cached. Maps, directions and external services may still need a connection. A local version may remain out of date after the booklet is updated.

How long can a visitor write to the team?

If messaging is enabled, visitors can write from the booklet during the 30 days following its creation. Authorised internal advisors can reply and take over a conversation. External advisors do not have this feature. Translation of messages is configurable. Your office organises replies, with no guaranteed response time or permanent availability.

Does the link change when a booklet is updated?

Authorised internal advisors can update a shared booklet while keeping the same link. External advisors cannot use this feature. Visitors need a connection to retrieve the updated version; resources from an earlier offline copy are not automatically replaced.

What does AI do with recommendations?

The advisor chooses content and remains responsible for recommendations. AI can help write, translate or interpret information depending on configured services. Its suggestions and practical information need checking. Assistance does not make decisions on behalf of the reception team.

Insights

Can a request be qualified without a booklet?

Yes. A qualification can be saved independently. Information relates to available fields: origin, group, stay, interests, transport, accommodation or declared budget. Your team decides what is useful to ask and agrees on recording practices.

Do the statistics represent every tourist?

They represent activities and information recorded in Roadpress. Visitors outside recorded conversations are not counted. When comparing periods, check filters, counts, completeness and changes to collection. These data complement other sources of destination insight.

Does recommending a place prove a visit?

No. A recommendation describes advice given in a booklet. It does not prove that the visitor went to the place concerned. Recommendation maps and lists describe that scope; they do not measure physical tourist movements.

How can we share analysis?

Filters and Excel exports help prepare analysis from the available data. Keep the period, scope, counts and units with your report. Viewing and export permissions are organised by your office according to the roles assigned.

Network

What can an external advisor do?

An external advisor creates booklets for visitors within a framework defined by your office. Access suits that role and does not grant general administration rights. External advisors cannot use visitor messaging or update booklets after sharing. Prepare content and training before opening the network.

How is an invited professional different?

An invited professional views reviews and information concerning their own points of interest. This consultation role differs from an external advisor authorised to create booklets. Assign access according to the need and plan its removal when no longer required.

How do reviews contribute to advice?

Reviews concern recommended places. Moderation and assisted analysis can help interpret the available feedback. Your team remains responsible for processing and interpretation. One review or summary does not automatically represent all visitors to a place.
